22. All or Nothing

How do we know for sure that Moshiach *must* come? How do we know that no matter what we do or don't do, he definitely *will* come?

Because it's either all or nothing.
If Moshiach would not be real, then nothing would be real.
Without Moshiach, there would be no purpose to this world.
Without Moshiach, there would be no purpose to our lives.

To doubt Moshiach is to doubt the whole Torah.
To doubt Moshiach is to doubt the Rebbe's whole leadership.
To doubt Moshiach is to doubt Hashem Himself, because you're not sure if His plan for the world will succeed.

Doing Mitzvos without believing in Moshiach is like driving and driving but not knowing where you are going, or not believing you will ever get there.

Doing mitzvos without really wanting Moshiach is like driving and driving, but not really wanting to reach your destination.

Without Moshiach as our clear goal, no matter what we would do, we would not really be getting anywhere, we would just be going in circles.

"Maasai" reminds us that our life today is just a journey; a non- permanent situation.
And that we always need to clearly remember our destination,
especially when we've just about arrived!
